3-D Design With Rhino Software

Current Rhino Fabrication Knowledge: Extruding  closed 2-D shapes. capping the shapes and creating 3-D Closed poly-surfaces. Boolean Unioning/ differencing multiple shapes. exploding and reattaching open poly-surfaces to create an adjusted closed poly-surface printable structure. Bending and stretching solid 3-D shapes. Arraying and mirroring shapes for design purposes. Drawing 2-D designs that have the potential to become 3-D with curve tools . Drawing 2-D for laser carving purposes. Drawing 2-D lines that connect in different viewpoints and sweeping to create a workable mesh. Cutting along an edge to remove specific intersecting parts of a shape . Filleting an edge to turn a pointed structure into a rounded edge structure.  OFFsetting Curves in order to properly hollow shapes to create  3-D vessels.
Throwing Fists: The Mechanical Clown 
This 3-D Fabricated Piece is In the process of being 3-D Printed. This simple fun  piece was designed as a  crank and belt movement piece. The belt will be built and attached traditionally. The Mechanism of reference for creating this piece was  a centrifugal governor.  The balls, designed to resemble cartoon glove hands, will begin to swing out as the speed of the rod turning increases.
